Tango is a unique management simulation designed for mid levels of management and high potentials working in companies or departments in which people and processes are the key assets (R&D, software development, engineering, project management, consulting, professional services, technical sales, etc.)  This simulation focuses on issues and challenges related to creating an effective business strategy, talent management, project efficiency, resource allocation and winning the right clients.

During this seminar, participants are divided into management teams.  Each team is given a company to run for four to five annual cycles in which they pursue their business strategy in order to maximize profits.  The program is engaging and fast-paced and the major challenge is attracting and retaining the right combination of customers and employees.

Simulation Objectives:

  • Develop and implement the most effective strategies to increase a company’s market value.

  • Account for and measure the intangible assets (image, organizational know-how, intellectual capital) of a knowledge organization when doing a financial analysis.

  • Apply the concepts of capacity utilization (effective management of resources) and cash flow when making decisions which impact short-term profitability.

  • Effectively manage the financial balancing act of investing in new products and services, expertise, and image while maintaining the confidence of stakeholders and customers.

  • Understand how to leverage a company’s image to retain and attract desired customers and employees.

  • Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators in order to identify ways to improve profitability.
